The MA200-P MICA retains Markaudio’s signature design philosophy—combining elegant form, robust
engineering, and full-range musicality. This driver delivers a near-linear midrange response, making it a
standout choice for playback of vocal-rich and acoustic music.

The cone is made from mica-reinforced paper, a material known for its natural damping and tonal warmth.
This composition favors clarity while maintaining a broad frequency range from 40Hz depending on
enclosure to 22kHz.

As one of the larger drivers in the Markaudio range, the MA200-P is designed to deliver strong bass
performance when used in appropriately tuned enclosures. Its wide usable bandwidth allows builders to
achieve both deep bass and extended full-range output from a single driver.
The long-stroke suspension and low-distortion motor system contribute to a low resonant frequency and
medium Q, with air volume compliance optimized for a wide variety of enclosures. This driver will easily
partner with lower power tube and solid state amplification due to its +92dB efficiency and light 14g
moving mass.

The MA200-P is particularly well suited to vented and hybrid box designs that maximize bass output while
preserving the driver’s wide-range capability.

The chassis features rounded edges to enhance wave dispersion and airflow efficiency.
